METAL WORK PLATFORM STANDING ON EDGE, FELL ON EMPLOYEE
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 was using a cutting torch to scrap a steel beam platform that was co vered with wood planks. The employee used a front end loader to set the 8-foot-2 0-inch platform on its edge, resting it against a steel beam. While Employee #1 was cutting away parts of the platform, the platform fell on him, pinning him be tween the platform and the ground.
