Investigation abstract

A COMPRESSED GAS CYLINDER, CONTAINING CHLORINE GAS, DEVELOPED A LEAK THROUGH AN EIGHTH INCH HOLE AT ITS BASE. 27 EMPLOYEES WERE EXPOSED TO THE CHLORINE GAS AND TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL. EMPLOYEES #1 THROUGH #7 WERE ADMITTED TO THE HOSPIT AL. BY MAY 14TH ALL BUT ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES HAD BEEN RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL .
