EMPLOYEE IS KILLED WHEN PNEUMATIC NAIL GUN ACCIDENTALLY DISC

Investigation abstract

At 12:00 a.m. on July 24, 2022, an employee was attempting to repair a pneumatic nail gun and was seen taking the gun apart and then putting it back together ov er a 3-hour period. There were no witnesses, but it is speculated that the emplo yee attached the nail gun to an air compressor and the gun discharged, causing p art of the gun to be a flying projectile. The employee was killed and sustained an eye injury.
