Employee is killed in fall from tree

Investigation abstract

At 10:15 a.m. on November 17, 2022, an employee was hanging Christmas tree lights on trees in the courtyard of a retirement community. As he climbed a tall pine tree, the branches broke, and he fell approximately 22 feet to the ground. When he hit the ground surface, he sustained injuries to his head and abdomen, killing him.
