Employee dies from head trauma after being struck by truck

Investigation abstract

On March 30, 2023, an employee working for a hardware store was walking through the parking lot. The employee had just exited her vehicle after returning from her lunch break. As the employee crossed the lot, she was struck by a truck driven by a customer and was knocked to the asphalt pavement. The employee was unresponsive and was transported to the hospital via a medical airlift. The employee sustained severe head trauma and died.
