Investigation abstract
At 5:36 p.m. on July 27, 2023, Employee #1, not employed by the business, was found unresponsive inside the metal shipping container that acted as the office for the recycling center located in Sacramento, CA. A passerby notified the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office at 5:36 p.m., who then notified DOSH at 9:12 p.m. Employee #1, a frequent client to the recycling station, was found sitting on the chair inside the metal trailer after hours, when the station should have been closed. The DOSH inspector went out to the site at 9:30 a.m. on July 28, 2023 and opened the investigation. The cause of death is unknown at this point in time.
