Investigation abstract

At 8:00 p.m. on October 15, 2023, an employee working for a ship building and repairing business was welding on a docked ship deck. The employee fell from the barge and landed in the Mississippi River. The employee's body was recovered by local officials. The employee had died due to drowning.
