A young employee returning from a break was struck by a pick-up style truck in the parking lot of the store. Employee suffered compound fracture of his left tibia. Employee was rushed to Aria Hospital/Torresdale Campus and later to Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania for an emergency surgery.
An employee was slicing short loin with a band saw when the meat skipped on the blade, resulting in amputation of the employee's right thumb between the knuckle and nail.
An employee had just finished cutting porterhouse steaks and was preparing to move them to his block for trimming and packaging. He was moving to turn the saw off when the stack of cut steaks, on the table of the saw, started to fall over.
