Final narrative
On 3/02/2015, an employee was working in the freight sorting building on an outbound slide. At approximately 8:30 PM, the employee was sorting freight when she tripped on the edge of a floor mat that was slightly elevated, falling on her right hip. The employee was hospitalized and had surgery.
An employee was manually unloading a wooden crate to reload a conveyor belt when the contents in the crate shifted toward the belt. The employee's right ring finger was then pinched between the crate and edge of the conveyor belt, resulting in a medical amputation.
