Final narrative
A maintenance employee reached into the back of an evisceration machine and was injured when his fingers contacted the blade. His right ring finger was partially amputated. The machine was still on at the time.
An employee was cleaning a liver harvest machine. While removing liver/gizzard parts from a plastic auger, the rotating auger amputated his right index fingertip.
