An employee was attaching drill pipe to elevators using his hands. His fingers got stuck between the elevator and the drill pipe, which broke two fingers (pointer and middle finger of the right hand).
A generator was being replaced on a drilling rig. The 3700 pound generator was lifted and held with a chain attached and carried by an all terrain forklift. While the injured employee was pushing the generator with two other employees, the chain holding the generator slid from the forks of the all terrain forklift and fell backwards onto the employees. The injured employee sustained rib fractures.
