An employee was performing a rip cut on a table saw when he cut his left thumb approximately 1/2 inch above his knuckle but below the nail. The guard was not in place at the time.
An employee was assembling cabinet doors using a large clamp when his finger was crushed between the clamp and the cabinet. The employee sustained a closed fracture to the tuft of the distal phalanx and a traumatic amputation to a finger.
An employee was operating a strip saw. As the employee shut off the saw, their right index and middle fingertips were amputated by the blade before it came to a complete stop.
