A pile up of tiles occurred on line 8. An employee attempted to turn the conveyor off at the switch. The employee was looking at the pile while his hand was aimed at the switch. His hand missed the switch and the back of his hand made contact with the pulley and guard causing a laceration.
An employee was fulfilling an order and attempting to pry apart a 359-pound piece of sheet panel. The sheet panel fell forward and landed on the employee, resulting in injuries that required hospitalization.
