A material handler on the motorized sheet lifter picked up a pack of material with the lifter and was moving the pack around when the pack struck a fixed object. The stack then shifted and caught the worker's fingers between the object and the stack injuring three fingers. The pinky finger was partially amputated from the tip to between the first and second joint.
