A mower machine caught a piece of wood, about 2 feet long and 3 inches wide, and threw it 90 feet backward. It struck an employee in the lower back, causing broken ribs, a vertebral fracture, and lacerations to the kidney and spleen.

On September 18, 2020, at 10:43 AM, an employee was felling a tree. When the tree fell and contacted the ground, the butt end of the tree jumped off the stump and struck the employee. The butt end then knocked the employee to the ground and landed on the employee's left arm and shoulder area. The employee suffered a fractured ulna, clavicle and ribs. The fractured ulna required surgery.
