An employee was servicing a conveyor belt system to free a jammed shirt. He was using a knife to cut away the shirt and free the jammed system when his shirt was caught by the conveyor belt. The belt then pulled his left hand between the roller, the belt, and the frame, causing burns to the back of his left hand from his knuckles to his wrist and lacerations to the underside of his left thumb.
