An employee was using a band saw to cut meat and amputated the right index fingertip below the last knuckle.
An employee was standing in the self checkout area to assist customers. As the employee turned, her leg gave out and she fell to the floor. Her left femur was fractured.
On January 16, 2023, at approximately 10:33 AM, an employee was walking through the swinging door separating the seafood and meat departments and tripped on a folded step stool leaning against the wall and fell. The fall resulted in injury to the employee's hip that required surgery.
On January, 13, 2023, at 11:54 AM, an employee was putting plastic into a recycling bin next to the cardboard baler. He took a step backward and tripped on a pallet that was placed in front of the baler. The employee sustained a left femur fracture that required surgery.
An employee was operating a strip saw. As the employee shut off the saw, their right index and middle fingertips were amputated by the blade before it came to a complete stop.
