An employee was unplugging an extension cord from a wall on the fifth floor when it got caught on the door frame of the hydraulic double doors. He reached between the door frame and door to remove the cord when the hydraulics triggered to close the door catching his right middle finger between the door jamb and door. The fingertip was amputated.
