An employee was working on a dryer operation and was removing a piece of glass when the machine's lid began to close unexpectedly. He was attempting to get his arm out of the machine when his wrist struck the structure and his arm was pinched between the lid and the machine. He suffered a fractured right wrist and right bicep cut, requiring hospitalization.
