On September 20, 2017, at approximately 9:00 p.m., an employee was applying anti-caking material to an in-feed incline belt (inside a shredder feed on a conveyor belt) when the employee's left ring finger was caught between the metal idler pulley and the conveyor, amputating the fingertip.
