An employee was paving forms for sidewalks when his small left finger was smashed and fractured by a piston on a material loader.
An employee was working in a crew conducting pile driving at a bridge replacement site. A 1-inch-by-43-inch crane anemometer pole broke from a bracket and fell, striking the employee in the mouth. The employee sustained a fracture to the palate of their mouth.
An employee was bracing an extension ladder while his coworker installed a 10-foot, 40-45-pound pipe. The pipe fell onto the injured employee's head and he sustained a hematoma, C3 and C4 vertebral fractures and a forehead laceration.
