Final narrative
On 10/16/2017, an employee was in an aerial lift cutting a tree with a chainsaw. He put the saw down on the tree and went to break off a tree limb to throw it clear of a fence. The chainsaw began to move and he went to stop it. The saw then revved up and amputated his left pinky finger to the first knuckle.
An employee was cleaning liner to the bucket truck and fell to the ground 9 feet below. He suffered a broken vertebra in his lower back, as well as two cut fingers. He had not been tied off at the time of the incident.
