An employee was preparing to install a conduit on an outside wall. He was climbing an 8-foot A-frame ladder that was leaning against the wall when he lost his footing and fell about 6 feet, striking a table positioned next to the ladder. He broke his arm, requiring hospitalization and surgery.

The employee was pinned between the drive shaft and two pieces of angle steel, resulting in a fracture to their left hip.
