An employee was performing maintenance on a pump at a gas well frac job. The employee removed the top cap off of the pump and removed the top valve. The employee went to remove the bottom valve and the pump stroked, catching and crushing the employee's right hand. The employee suffered a hand injury and was hospitalized.
