An employee was cutting wood furniture parts on a band saw when the moving blade struck and amputated the employee's left pinky finger.
An employee was aligning a new fabric belt that was installed on a conveyor system. While handing a tool to a helper, the employee's left hand was caught between the conveyor belt and the tension roller. The employee suffered multiple fractures and abrasions to the left hand, requiring hospitalization.
An employee was operating a strip saw. As the employee shut off the saw, their right index and middle fingertips were amputated by the blade before it came to a complete stop.
