Final narrative
An employee was working from a scissor lift about 4 or 5 feet above the ground, removing R-panels from the outside of a tin building. He slipped, and his right hand contacted an exhaust fan mounted on a panel. The fan blade lacerated his right ring finger and partially amputated the nail bed on the little finger.
An employee was cleaning shavings from a drill when a coworker pushed a rail tie down the rollers. The injured employee's left index fingertip was pinched and partially amputated between the tie and the drill.
