An employee had dumped a 2-yard dumpster. He then used the control box to wind the winch cable. The winch cable was wrapped around the employee's left hand and also became caught on something on the side of the truck. The employee pulled his gloved hand out of the winch cable and sustained a laceration to his left middle fingertip. The injury required surgery and involved loss of bone.
