An employee was operating a work vehicle and driving on a private road to meet with her supervisor when she hit an icy patch in the road and lost control of the vehicle, striking a telephone pole. She suffered a contusion of the left lower leg, a contusion of the right hand, and a contusion and laceration of the cerebrum, requiring hospitalization.
