An employee was handling 6-inch PVC piping from a dewatering system that was full of water and heavy while trying to connect it to a pump. The pipe fell onto another pipe and the employee's right ring finger was pinched between the two pipes causing a partial amputation.

A crew was installing 8-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) waterline in a trench. An employee was soaping a joint to insert the spigot end of a pipe into the previously laid joint when the joint was pushed together. The employee's left ring and little fingers were pinched between the two pipes. The ring finger was injured and the little fingertip was amputated.
An employee was driving the water truck and spraying water when a third-party dump truck driver flagged him down asking for help. The dump truck driver's tailgate was in a bind with the screen that covers the truck bed. When the employee got up on the truck to help, the tailgate released and slammed down on his foot. The tailgate crushed his big toe and the toe next to it. The big toe was medically amputated.
An employee was moving a tensile strength test device with a dolly. The device fell from the dolly onto the employee's right leg, causing a compound fracture.
On October 7, 2025, employees were conducting trenching operations for the installation of a new sewer line system. An employee connected the straps to the loader and truck and another employee slowly engaged the loader to close the coupler. The injured employee's arm became caught in a pinch point. The employee was hospitalized with a fractured arm.
