An employee was preparing to replace wires in a manhole. As he was slicing a cable, the knife slipped out of his hand and cut his finger at the second joint where the finger bends, resulting in a pinky finger amputation.

An employee fell 43 inches from a crane platform while removing a pin from the boom. The pin weighs about 50 lbs. and the employee lost his balance and fell to the concrete floor, hitting his head. He suffered two fractured vertebrae in the back and one fractured vertebra in the neck.
On December 27, 2018, a security officer was struck by a motor vehicle while working at a base entrance gate. The employee suffered a crushed left leg, which had to be amputated.
