An employee backed up a tugger to attach it to a transport rack. After the employee dismounted the tugger, his fingers were caught between the tugger and a part on the transport rack. He sustained the amputation of the right middle fingertip and a contusion to the ring finger.

There were approximately five 8' x 10' x 1"-thick sheets of plywood used as dunnage on the previous load that were left on the trailer and needed to be removed. They were stacked on end and secured to the wall of the trailer. The employee untied them in order to move them. The dunnage fell on and injured the employee.
