An employee was mounting a tire to a rim when the tire and rim assembly fell over. The employee attempted to protect the rim and his finger was caught between the rim and the floor resulting in an amputation of the left middle fingertip.
An employee was balancing a tire using a tire balancer machine. The employee removed the tire from the balancer and the tire's weight pulled their hand down, causing the the tire balancer shaft to amputate their left index fingertip.
