Final narrative
An employee was using a deboning saw to debone a poultry thigh when the employee's left index finger contacted the rotating saw blade, resulting in an amputation to the extreme end of the left index finger. Protective gloves were not worn at the time of the incident.
An employee was spraying down equipment and removing some chicken fat on a shackle when their left index finger was caught in the equipment and amputated.
