Final narrative
An employee was operating a press machine. Aluminum plugged the die; the press continued, pushing the aluminum. The pressure caused the metal to shoot out of the press, smashing the employee's left hand between the aluminum and a run-out table. The employee suffered an amputation to the index finger.
On June 14, 2022, at approximately 6:07 AM, an employee was removing a billet that was stuck underneath the loader of the press machine. The employee's left hand was caught by the tray on the conveyor of the loader resulting in amputations to the little and ring fingers.
An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
