A CHEP employee was standing off to the side of a service area when a pallet jack operator lost control of the pallet jack and struck the employee's left leg against upright racking. He suffered broken bones in his left leg.
An employee operating a powered pallet jack dismounted the jack before it came to a complete stop. The employee's right ankle was pinned between the pallet jack and a rack and it was fractured.
On September 20, 2023, an employee was operating a rolling container carrier to pick merchandise when the vehicle contacted another carrier that was being operated in front of him. The employee's right foot was caught between the two pieces of equipment, resulting in a broken right ankle.
