An employee was kneeling down prepping towable vacuum equipment to connect to grooving equipment. When he stood up, he lost his balance, fell forward, and struck the right side of his face on the hitch of the grooving equipment. He was hospitalized with a face injury.
An employee was working with an engineer to complete layout for a project on a state roadway. While on the shoulder of the road the employee was struck by a motor vehicle and sustained a compound fracture of the tibia/fibula.
An employee was on a two-step ladder performing cleaning activities in the de-oiler machine. The employee fell back and his right arm was caught in the equipment, resulting in a right forearm fracture that required surgery.
