An employee was dropping a trailer and opening the doors. Upon opening the last door to the trailer, the employee passed out and fell from the back of the trailer to the ground. The employee was hospitalized with heat exhaustion and syncope.

After cutting paper from a roll on a rewinder, an employee tried to pull the paper out from underneath the spool. The spool came loose and pinned the employee's leg against a cart behind him, breaking the leg.

On July 22, 2024, at 10:30 AM, an employee was responding to a pulp mill manufacturing process shutdown. Pulp stock overflowed through an engineered overflow pipe resulting in a buildup of stock in a bermed area. The stock was 140 to 150 degrees. The employee went to the bermed area to close an air-actuated process valve. While closing the valve, pulp stock entered the top of his boots and caused second-degree burns to both of his lower legs down to his feet. The employee was hospitalized.

An employee tripped over a concrete curb stop in a parking lot. The employee fell to the ground, landing on their left hip and breaking it.

An employee was conducting routine maintenance on a mixer. New lid pins had been installed, and the employee was rotating by hand to ensure they had been installed correctly. The employee suffered several injuries, all on the right side: broken ribs, a broken sternum, a broken temporal bone, broken shoulder, multiple fractures to the cheekbone, and a brain bleed.

An employee was rolling up the landing gear on his trailer when the handle began to unwind and struck his face, fracturing his jaw. The employee was hospitalized and required surgery.
