Final narrative
On October 5, 2020, a mower operator was trying to make contact with the injured employee. The injured employee was walking toward the mower operator and stepped on the plastic chute on the zero turn mower deck. The mower turned and the injured employee's foot struck the moving blades causing the amputation of a toe.
An employee was operating a strip saw. As the employee shut off the saw, their right index and middle fingertips were amputated by the blade before it came to a complete stop.
