Final narrative
An employee was unloading product from a truck using a forklift. While stacking the product, one of the pallets fell. The employee got out of the forklift and started picking up the fallen product. When the first pallet fell it struck another stack of pallets, causing them to be unstable. The stack fell onto the employee causing multiple femur fractures.
An employee was injured when she reached into a Bartelt Machine that was being repaired by a maintenance technician. The employee did not notice the maintenance technician and went behind the machine to remove a pouch from it. The machine caught the tip of her glove and pulled her hand back, amputating a portion of her pinky. The maintenance technician was unaware of her presence.
