An employee was flipping a 330-pound steel plate. The plate failed to flip and came down on the employee's left hand, crushing it against the plate stand. The employee's ring fingertip was amputated.
A temporary employee was moving an I-beam that was on a steel table to the edge of the table. Their right index finger was pinched between the I-beam and the table, resulting in a broken finger.
A temporary employee was using a 4-inch pneumatic grinder when the grinding wheel broke apart and struck the employee's left thumb, resulting in an amputation.
