An employee was prepping special effects spark pyrotechnics rigs for a movie set on a constructed rooftop set. The employee was removing pyrotechnics materials from the location before performing a "spark test." A stray spark from a second test area ignited the box of pyrotechnics the employee was carrying, causing the box to burn. The employee was hospitalized to treat possible second and third-degree burns to her hands and fingers, as well as first and second-degree burns to her neck and face.
