On May 22, 2023, an employee was working on a shear to cut a metal plate. As he got to the last piece of metal, the machine engaged, crushing his finger. The employee sustained a right index finger fracture.
An employee was adjusting a 100-ton jack so that it could push pins that held a gantry tube in position. When the jack was in position and pressure was starting to be applied to the pins, something slipped and caused the employee's fingers to get pinched off. About 1.5 inches of his left ring and middle fingers were amputated.
