An employee was operating an aircraft spotting dolly that had been offloaded from a flatbed tractor trailer. As the employee went to drive the unit forward, the spotting dolly bucked, causing the rear of the unit to swing sharply to the left and strike the edge of the trailer. The employee sustained right ankle, right tibia, and left hip fractures.

The employee was found with his head pinned between the forklift's left front cage bar and the interior wall of the trailer.
