During forklift and rigging operations to move screw piles around, the end cap of a screw pile weighing approximately 30 pounds flew off and struck an employee in the face. They sustained multiple facial fractures that required hospitalization.
An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
