As part of a sidewalk demolition project, the injured employee was loading rocks and concrete by hand into the bucket of a skid steer. A rock thrown by another employee struck the injured employee's left hand, causing a partial amputation of the middle finger.

On 10/22/2015 at approximately 12:30 pm, a carpenter was using a Skil saw to cut some lumber and lacerated his left thumb. He was admitted to the hospital.
An employee had picked up a piece of steel tubing at each end to throw it into a recycling bin. When the employee threw the tube, it caught on a fixed air pipe. The employee's right hand was caught between the end of the tube and the pipe, and the employee's index finger was broken.
