Final narrative
An employee was assembling a shelf with a nail gun containing 18-gauge, 3/4-inch nails. While placing together two pieces, he lost grip of the pieces and the nail gun fired into the palm of his left hand.
An employee was operating an edge banding machine. While cleaning out the build up of glue, wood dust, and cutting debris, his left hand contacted the rotating blades resulting in amputation of the middle and ring fingers at the second knuckle and the index finger at the first knuckle.
An employee was installing wood trim surrounding a skylight inside a home. While holding a piece of trim in it's desired location, his pneumatic nail gun discharged, sending a 3/4-inch pin nail into his left forearm.
