On April 19, 2024, an employee was removing a waste bin from a water jet machine. He rolled it out from under the waste tube platform before trying to clear some waste from the waste tube. Rotating blades within the tube contacted his hand, resulting in amputations of the index, middle, and ring fingers at the first joint.

A temporary employee turned off a planer machine, opened the housing, and began clearing a jam. The machine's spinning blade caught his right hand and degloved the index finger.
