Final narrative
An employee tripped over the sweeper at the front of a stationary autonomous guided vehicle. The employee fell to the floor and suffered a broken right elbow.
A mechanic (injured employee) was repairing a tractor on an assembly line and was positioned to the rear left side of the tractor. An assembly technician was performing a rockshaft check while positioned to the right front side of the same tractor. When the assembly technician actuated the rockshaft located at the rear of the tractor the mechanic's head was caught between the rockshaft and the Rollover Protection System (ROPS) bar of the tractor. The injured employee suffered a complex laceration of the right ear and a temporal bone fracture. The employee was hospitalized.
On May 24, 2017, at approximately 12:00 PM, an employee was working with metal parts when a metal sliver became lodged in his left middle finger. His hand later became severely infected and required hospitalization the following day.
An employee was installing fence posts when they stepped into a recently dug hole that was not visible due to rainfall. The employee's leg was fractured.
