At 7:00 p.m. on June 7, 2024, an employee was using a chain binder to secure cargo before transport. As he was placing tension on the chain binder, his hand slipped, tension was released, and his left little finger was caught in the pivot point of the binder. His fingertip was amputated at the nail bed.

The employee was pinned between the drive shaft and two pieces of angle steel, resulting in a fracture to their left hip.
