An employee was preparing the mezzanine for painting and was laying plastic on the concrete floor. They noticed a piece of plywood lying on the mezzanine floor and lifted the plywood to lay plastic down. The employee then fell approximately 12 feet through the floor opening the plywood was covering and sustained a fractured femur.
